Fee & Payment

What is the fee for a session? $120 per hour

Will this be covered by my insurance company?  Maybe, maybe not.  Although I have my PhD in Psychology, I do not have an Ontario license.  The reason is that when I began practicing here, rather than spend the time and money to obtain my Ontario license I decided to pursue advanced clinical training in Transpersonal Therapy and Somatic Experiencing (each 3 year programs).  These trainings provided me with the skills and techniques that I felt most comfortable would help my clients.  So some clients have been successful in submitting claims, others have not. 

Even where claims have been successful, you should know most insurance company coverage is minimal.  This is one reason my fee is lower than most psychologists (typical range is $125-200/hr).   The other reason is I believe healing should not be prohibitively expensive.  It is OUR right to heal!
